Overheating
- Insufficient coolant in system.
- Thermostat faulty.
- Radiator core blocked, or grille restricted .
- Electric cooling fan or thermoswitch faulty.

Overcooling
- Thermostat faulty.

External coolant leakage
- Deteriorated or damaged hoses or hose clips.
- Radiator core or heater matrix leaking .

Internal coolant leakage
- Leaking cylinder head gasket .
- Cracked cylinder head or cylinder bore .

- Air filter element dirty or clogged.
